Fake Spy Class Update Details

oh yeah, it's totally fake, it just LOOKS real - it was some guy who did an awesome job on making a fake spy upgrade. looks pretty authentic to me :)

If you actually read it, you will find several spelling and grammar errors, as well as awkward phrasing that valve would NEVER let slip. Also, at the bottom, in very small print it says "haox by Kaanin :p". It's pretty obvious.

HOWEVER...


All of the weapons ideas are decent. The Garrote is an excellent idea. The magnetic sapper is also interesting, and the pistol is only... iffy. Not a bad idea, I suppose. The spy upgrades that he suggested, such as cloak being restored at dispensers and resupply lockers is pretty ridiculous, though. I don't think that would fly.
 
I'm into only 2 things really: The Garrote and the Sapper. They're actually reallllly cool.
 
dude that wuz loooong time ago...although i liked the idea of dispensers recharging your cloak
 
yeah thats pretty old. but like all things internet it will keep recycling by people who didn't see it the first time: i agree when i read it i thought it was pretty darn cool. and some good ideas. plus i was proud of the dude for the ammount of detail/work he put into it (aside from the stuff Dread mentioned) but also on that website they state that they (the TF team) was so found of the hoax that even some of them thought it might be real!
 
Well, the idea of the garrote was pretty awesome. Trying to figure out new weapon sets for all of the characters while still keeping everyone balanced was is pretty ridiculous. They had TONS of balance issues with the pyros. Anyhow, I think that The Garrote is a good alternative. High damage/ not giving up you cloak is wicked. You could take an engie, and then sap the sentry with no problems, really. It would be powerful. I wonder if there would be a way to get out of it before you died? maybe a teammate would have to kill him.
