Hey, so in 3 weeks im going on a trip, wich will involve driving 12 hours there, around 3 hours a day of driving while there, and then 12 hours back... so i need a handheld game that will last me around 30-40 hours minnimum... preferably for the DS, since my sister will be using this time to farther harass her character in harvest moon on the psp

So if anyone got suggestions... please tell meh

AND if you so HINT at a pokemon game, i will stab u in the eye with a pencil... u have been warned

My neighbors little kid plays a game Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, he has logged many of hours on this game... From what I have seen looks like a great game aka AWESOME time killer :p

final fantasy crystal chronicles is a great game i've been able to play it for hours without getting bored

The World Ends With You, Final Fantasy IV, there are tons really.

Alright. I'm going to seem like a dork here.

First off, yes, final fantasy tactics for the win. Then... we have probably my favorite handheld game of all time... for the gameboy color. pokemon? no way. This game does it better.

Dragon Warrior Monsters.

There, I said it!

It is neat; for anyone who loves classic RPGs, DWM is from the dragon warrior series. it uses the same monsters, but you now fight with them as well! you can breed them and get them generally ready for tournaments, which advance the storyline.

I'm telling you, it's a lot less lame then it sounds. But, then again, I am a DW junkie. probably one of my favourite RPGs ever is Dragon Warrior VII for the PS1.

sigh so many people i have to stab... and yhea thnx for the suggestiosn guys!

Since when were YOU the appointed stabber? You're the one leaving for a vacation, I'm a good spy with a huge ego. (Pun not intended.)

hey i would def suggest trying out a game called planet puzzle league (& ill be honest, its rather hard to find, so do some research for the game).

yea i second planet puzzle league, also sleeping is an excellent option haha if only we had autopilot

Super Mario 64 DS. Except if you've played the original (which I have anyway >>)

As nobody else has said it yet I probably should. I highly advise that you DO NOT play for the full 12 hours! Seriously, you'll spend the rest of the trip next to a bag.

Lego Indiana Jones. With all the unlockables, it will keep you busy for a long time.

Any of the castlevania's if you like RPG's. (Fun to level up and get gear, etc).

Otherwise advance wars or zelda: phantom hourglass.
