A packet loss can cause that. Did you alt + tab out of the game or did your internet connection go out for a moment?

I have been playing with Veil for a long time... I have never suspected hacking in the past (he is a good player though), I would suspect a "hiccup" first, then something else. There would be no point to cloaking with the intel anyway...

Alright, since everyone's been having Alt + Tab glitches lately, I'm going to post a little trick I use to fix it.
Just slap this in your autoexec.cfg, located in C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/<username>/team fortress 2/tf/cfg.

Alias altabfix "record bugfix; wait 15; stop"
bind "F9" "altabfix"

In game, just press F9, and the video should appear correctly.

it might have been because i was alt tabbing. I too played many games with this guy but it was the first time seeing him like this so i wasn't too suspicious. Just to confirm

Client-side graphical glitch. You alt-tabbed. I've played with Veil, he doesn't hack, and AFAIK, there's no such thing as a "cloak hack" anyways.

I don't have an autoexec file in that folder. Do you mean config?

I've had the same thing happen to me, except it was a Pyro that was cloaked. However, everyone else saw him just fine.

I think it's a graphical glitch.

Tattis, you have to create the file yourself. Just create a text document and rename it to autoexec.cfg (you need to have file extensions shown).
