Bernie Mac....

....and Bob Saggat is healthy as a mule!

RIP Big Dog B.M.

Sorry, what I meant to say was, "I never really liked Bernie Mac, as a comedian."

While I respect the guy as a person, going off topic a second I hate these types of topics. If we showed the same type of respect for dead actors and and actresses as for say, the victims of hurricane katrina, we wouldn't have as many problems as we do.

I dunno. In the end he was born a human, and died a human. I don't see why actors and actresses get their own special limelight, when theirs people who have been homeless since 2003?

What's worse is if the hurricane victims die, no one parades around their funeral, gives them their own special topics, etc. If someone like Anna Nicole Smith dies, the news become Anna 24/7.

Bernie Mac died, and it's sad. I just wish people also cared about strangers and not people already in the limelight as well.

Well there's a reason people like Bernie Mac get their own limelight: he was a performer.

He entertained the masses, helped the progression of black comedians and actors with his unique style, and basically helped those less fortunate than himself to laugh at their plights. Your logic would justify saying that we should either mourn the passing of Charles Manson or should've completly ignored the day Mother Teresa died.

The people who use their abilities to the fullest get recognized when they die. They don't have to be a performer. Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and George Bush (Sr) aren't actors, but when they pass, the world will know. You can't lump everyone into the same status quo. It just doesn't make any sense.

Those who make something of themselves by their own hands will have others mourn them when they pass.
