dont worry about getting your account hacked just because you wont be on for a while. the only way you could get your account "hacked" is if you give away your password. this could be done by going to a "fake" steam site and logging in there, etc

there are programs out there that let people auto generate the stuff I think, oh, and you can search google for PC users old cookies. And some are stupid enough to fall for scams (NOT HIM THO)

This is how you get your account back just click retrieve a lost account then just fill up all that you put.It should take some time if it doesn't work try a bit harder to remember

Unfortunately, it is ridiculously easy to hack someones account... Just run on an anonymous proxy and use a program to brute force the login page with a word list...

I have tried the system on my own personal website, and it's scary how effective it is... With a big enough user base you're sure to get some accounts after an hour or so of scanning.

Of course, I'm not stupid enough to do it on someone else's website (jail-time ftl), but I feel that the more you know about the tools hackers have available to them, the safer you are when trying to avoiding becoming a victim.

It's easy to avoid a brute force hack

Make your password something like this

Make sure to use a character a number and letters and it would take almost 6 months of brute force scanning to get it.

I really can't see that happening, ever, unless he gave his details out. Logically, the chance of somehow randomising his username AND his password are so low it's not even worth thinking about.
