I was compiling a VERY large and and complicated map, and while it was on "PortalGroups", my computer screen froze in shades of black, white, and red. There was no way I could restart it properly, so I had to restart it by holding the power button (usually I have to hold it for 15 seconds, so I didn't think it did damage to the computer.) When I opened it again, everything was fuzzy, I couldn't read the text on the startup menu. I waited, and just as it was about to hit the account select screen (I have a 2005 Windows XP XPS Media Center Computer. The entire computer weighs around 30 lbs.), my moniter power button turned orange, which meant it was in sleep mode. I tried again, still, same result. The computer (not the moniter) was still fully turned on though. It's my only gaming computer, whenever I try running CS:S on my office computers and laptops I either get errors or CS:S runs incredibly slow. Any help is deeply appreciated. I'll even donate the person with the correct solution some of my FPSB points.
