I correct myself TWICE my sister has a 900, I have a 1200, and its a k9a2 platinum V2,and with the recent bios update it now supports 1600 (Previously 1066) and up to 16 gigs, but there is still no reason to bash me because I made a small mistake on my wording.
And yes the 5870's are dual slotted, but instead of mounting the PSU at the bottom I put it in the hard drive bay and moved the hard drives up.
I can get pictures up in a week or so or less, but I did get it to fit
I was just looking through the posts and came across these gems...
Missy, you're joking right?
For starters the K9A2 Platinum V2 is a DDR2 Board and OCZ doesn't make a DDR2 1600 kit, and certainly not one using 4GB sticks
Secondly, you claim to be running 1600Mhz RAM at 2Ghz with
LOWER timings?? 3-3-3 eh? well that is.... impossible. So you're running those at, say, 5v? heheh Also the memory controller is on die and I'm sure there is a point to be made there but I don't know enough about it so I won't speculate.
Thirdly, You claim to be running this all off an 800w power supply? At peak load those components will be pulling over 1000w and theres no way that CPU is running stock voltage, at 4.5Ghz (on air right?, i did notice you said you had phase cooling at the bottom but if that was the case, why list a Zalman 9500? :glare

so you'd be well over 1.4v, probably 1.5... so wattage'd be more like 1050, given PC Power and Cooling makes some nice supplies but none that run ~25% above their power rating.
Next you say you have a Soundblaster X-FI Platinum... Thats a PCI card, not a PCI-e and your slots are all already covered up by your four 5870s
you kill me... really... I had to take a time out half way though your post to catch my breath.
Looks like you haven't posted any pics yet... I'm still waiting for those... I'd also like to see some CPU-Z and GPU-Z Screenshots
Sorry Missy, but I'm calling shenanigans on this one...
