Actually, the only new parts are the two HDDs I bought a few days ago. I decided to post it because the last time I made a post in this thread was on 01-03-2009. :)

Note: make sure to dust regularly. I lost my first power supply because one of the parts inside had literally melted off of the chipset. Power supply fan was dust choked.
 
Just had to replace one of my 500GB drives, replaced it with a 1TB WD Black as well as purchased another 500GB WD Black for backup storage, as I almost lost 77GB of music. Took a couple of 160GB drives I had and bought one of these

Updated my computer, here's a link if you haven't seen it. One of these days I'm going to rerun my cables so it doesn't look so messy.

You have two extremely nice rigs, there.
Also, how is the ASUS Xonar? I've been looking at them, but that doesn't tell me how they sound, or driver support. :P
 
Love my Xonar bro, if you have a nice set of speakers and want to get the full potential you should pick one up. It surprised me that the driver install didn't give me any trouble since things like this usually do. Downloaded, installed, rebooted, and done. Very nice user interface with tons of sound options . Let me tell you, you will hear things you may have never heard before with on-board sound. Don't expect it to be night and day , but its all there and the sound crispiness is amazing . I found mine cheap on eBay, i would wait around for a deal if i was you. Think i paid like $40 for mine. Im running win 7 , drivers will give you zero problems.

Yea, the rigs are sweet . I can play TF2 on rainy days when its slow at work though its tough with no mic. Three monitors is awesome while simulcasting online and the i3 handles everything smoothly when doing a million and one things at once. At all times, i have tons of tabs open and about 10 programs including folding on the GPU.

Im really having a hard time deciding on ordering me a 470 right now for my home gaming rig, I know it'll be a nice upgrade to compliment everything else but i honestly dont think ill get much use out of it. Everything i play runs beautifully right now as it is . BFBC2 runs surprisingly well with a few tweaks and is probably the one game hardest on my system that i currently play.

I say get it, you can use your 260 for PhysX, and you could enjoy BFBC2 at max with smooth frames. It'd be worth it in the long run, when more games use more tessellation.
 
Or buy a 58XX, enjoy bc2 at max with 1/2 the heat and 2/3 the power consuption, then use genL patch for GTX260 physx

I personally would have gotten the thermaltake one instead, but that one looks very nice.

This article really really makes me about ready to click order. At stock, it's ok. Overclocked 700 on the core on up makes her a monster. With the voltage tweak, 800 is possible. @ 774 the bench shows it beatin up (not by much) a 5870 . Thats the one thing with these cards, overclocked they perform amazing. I would most definitely dedicate the 260 to physx and should be able to run a marathon. Or, i mite even just do the upgrade and sell the 260 , put a couple hundred on top and go for it.

ATI makes excellent cards, no doubt about it . Love em. Everyone has their preference and i've always been an Nvidia guy. Plus Radeon cards wont do me much good while Folding@home.
