Im running the newest drivers straight from nVidia aswell as the newest BIOS and firmware for my mobo...

1680x1050 is the native res on my monitor.

257.21? I have those, too. They have beastly performance for the GTX 400 series.
Maybe you should buy a new monitor, get with the big league. 1050p is for noobs. lol

Its all personal preference when it comes to some stuff. Not everyone needs to have the best system. Some games run better with a dedicated physx card versus a game loving SLI. Source games HATE SLI. So in his case running one card as physx is more beneficial.

I'm pretty sure anyone would say that 1080p is better than 1050p.

I'm aware of that. But the pixels really don't matter all that much on a monitor. Unless you want to watch full 1080p movies the native resolution almost doesn't matter on the monitor. I enjoy my 1680x1050 monitor thank you.

My point being saying that someone is a noob because they have a certain monitor resolution is uncalled for. People have certain preferences on their stuff.

It was a joke. And I'm sure you do. But if you had the option to get a 1080p monitor over a, lets say, same priced 1050p monitor, you'd go for the 1080p, correct?
 
Honestly I couldn't tell the difference. My eye sight is poor in one of my eyes. If the resolution gives me bragging rights, sure. But for me its whatever.
