Laptops usually don't have sound cards i do believe, i could be wrong.
But it doesn't make a difference on a laptop, because its not meant for performance anyways. Sounds like a really good laptop though.
My rig is on my signature XD...

Intel Core 2 Quad 6700 OC'ed to 3.2ghz with water cooling
8gb Corsair XMS2 RAM
2x WD 500gb Caviar Black SATA HDs RAID 0
1x WD 320gb Caviar Blue SATA HD
Dual-boot Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit & Ubuntu 64bit
2x SLI BFG 9500GTs 1gb DDR3 ram each
Creative Fatal1ty USB Headset
Razer Lycosa Keyboard
MX518 Gaming Mouse
Qck+ mousepad
2x 23in Asus Monitors
That's a weak OC for a 6700 and being on water.
Could i go higher...yes i can and i have. Is there a point...nope not really. Doing my tests when i built this system 3yrs ago there wasnt a great performance boost past 3.2ghz. So instead of keeping it higher i lowered it back to 3.2ghz as anything after that i noticed the performance i was getting was less and less on each OC.
It was a nice rig. Still good, though. Did you build it yourself or go with Alienware or other prebuilt gaming company?
