Awesome setup bro. I was able to OC my 2600K to 5.2 with complete stability but decided that 4.6 was good enough for me. I'm happy there. But the auto OC feature on my Asus Maximus IV Extreme Z68 board really sucks and I've had many problems OC'ng my system. I learned the hard way and do it through the BIOS and save it as a profile.

I'm also OC'ng my two 580's from 855 to 975 with total stability. I only OC my graphic cards in games then run them at their default settings when just surfing around.

But I would say that the 2600K does OC very nicely. I've read the reviews and that new IVY Bridge 3770K 1155 chip doesn't scale or OC as good as the i7 26 & 2700K series.

I was going to upgrade my processor to that new IVY Processor, but everything is running really smooth now and I'm happy with the performance I'm getting now.

Yeah, I was OC to 4.8 with total stability but 4.6 is good enough for me. And my two graphic cards are OC'd to 930 with forced 60 fps. Still good enough for my gaming. One thing good is the new IVY is a 1155 processor and when they improve the software on that processor, it will be a lot easier for us to jump into the IVY world without changing motherboards.

Listening to all the reviewers out there on the Youtube sites I subscribe to, there not too impressed with the IVY Bridge so far compared with the 2600k and 2700k processors. We did it right bro. IVY isn't yet perfected and the scaling is awful now until they upgrade the bios again.

They all say to stay with the P and Z series mobo's for now. And there still having issues with the X79 2011 processors and mobo's. A lot of bugs need to be resolved. But hey, that's with all technology. You'll have bugs at first which is normal. They'll get ironed out eventually.

I'm running a Koolance ERM3K3U liquid cooling system. I'm cooling 2 video cards and my processor. Looking to upgrade to two 680's, sell one of my 580 Classifieds and using the other 580 as a dedicated physx card. I've been doing a lot of research on physx and there are more games coming out in the future with physx adapted to them.

Two video cards will handle Crossfire/SLI and Physx, but to get the trueist Crossfire/SLI setup with total performance output, you need a seperate dedicated physx card. A GTX 8800 Ultra or any AMD 5900 series of cards is more than enough for a dedicated physx card.

Nice rig. I also have the G9X mouse. I have big hands and it took me a while to get used to it but now I love it. Works real good. I like adjusting the dpi on the fly with just a push of a button. I also have the G510. Works really good along with a G13 game pad. Took a little to get use to but it's nice being able to save game profiles on my keyboard, mouse and gamepad.

I had that same problem with getting used to the mouse. I now love the thing and don't think I could use another mouse.

updated my cpu and cpu cooler. now obviously (as sig says) i have phenom ii X4 965 running at a stable and 24/7 4.1 ghz. not sure just how high i could get it...may try it sometime but not right now.
even right now in my non air conditioned apartment (its feels like 40c outside right now) the max temp is hitting 49c under full load. gpu hits max of about 75.
cooler is the corsair H80. its pretty beast. i actually had to take off one of the side fans because it got in the way now. so i have 5 intake fans and 2 out through the rad of the H80, and of course the GPU fan out. works quite well.
only running the cpu at 1.4v too. have my ram slightly overclocked as well. think its running at 1640 and low 8-8-8-24 clocks.

eventually i'll look to upgrade my GPU if i ever find a game that merits it. so far im still 60 fps solid on every game i own and have tried playing. this card is bulletproof man
