Check This Out Post Your Gaming Rig!

Recently purchased 16gb 1600 samsung 30nm ram, i5 3570k, and gigabyte z77x-ud3h motherboard to replace my aging and almost out of warranty i7 920, asus p6x58d premium, and 6gb corsair dominator ram for basically an even swap. Also upgraded from my old 160gb x25-m to a 256gb samsung 830. Next, I am looking to purchase 2 2007fp ips monitors to go for a PLP gaming setup (using either windowed mode or softth since it is not supported with eyefinity or nvidia surround). Additionally, still deciding on what gpu I want to end up with. Looking at either the 7950 or 670 4gb.

the mighty morphin' mega-rig got some part swappage goin on.

Here's my budget build! I picked up this used Dell Studio for $300 and put $200 in upgrades into it. I've been VERY happy with it! Much better than my other desktop which has slightly lower spec hardware but the same gfx card and there's a significant difference in performance with games like DayZ ArmA2, PS2, and Minecraft.

Model: Dell Studio Slim 540s
Processor: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4gHz 8MB L2 (It's about the same as an i5)
Memory: 8GB RAM
Hard Drive: 500GB Samsung 7200 RPM SATA 16MB cache
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR5 (low profile for sff case)
Monitor: Dell 19" LCD
Sound Card: Realtek ALC888 HD
Keyboard: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Merc-Stealth-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00292OW1U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362160445&sr=8-1&keywords=steelseries+merc+stealth"]Steelseries Merc Stealth[/ame] (holy guacamole is this keyboard awesome)
Mouse: Xornet CM Storm
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
PSU: KENTEK 400 Watt TFX (needed this to put in that gfx card)
