Ladies and Gentlemen. Allow me to introduce 'Alyssa' a humble little machine. Assembled at the cost of $356.(I know what you are asking.) How do you have a rig that can run all Source games at high settings smoothly at thwe cost of only $356? The answer is simple. Friends. Through donations of parts they no longer needed eGO's very own Xenophek and my other good friend Nathanael 'Palarious' Bush were able to get me most everything.

So now the nitty gritty:

2GB RAM

AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.6 GHZ

ASUS Radeon 4850 HDMI 512 MB*

200 GB HDD

Montior,Keyboard and Mouse are all cobbled together stuff from the closet

All packed into a RaidMax Tornado case* with 2 80mm fans and 1 120mm

Maybe not much by your standards but she does what I ask of her.

*Only things I had to buy.

May get some pics if I get around to it.

I sincerely do hope you've since removed your monitor from atop that 360. The case is weak enough that a significant amount of pressure (like the weight of a monitor) would press down on the disc drive and cause games to become scratched. Not to mention the heat of the monitor isn't really good for the 360 to begin with. We've lost 4 360s here at work because people insist on moving the monitors around despite my telling them not to do such things.

Any who I have that keyboard lol. But it is soooooooo old and crusty at this point. I remember giving it to someone to use as a back up keyboard and they turned me down cause of all the crap that had built up under the keys. lol

Processor: Intel C2D E8500 3.16 GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte X48-DQ6
RAM: 4 GB DDR2 1066
Video Cards: 2 Visiontek Radeon HD 4870s in Crossfire
HDD: 250 GB Western Digital
DVD: Samsung DVD+/-R/W
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake CL-P0401
PSU: PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750
Case: Antec Twelve Hundred
Monitor: Sceptre 24" LCD

This rig is screaming fast. I built it about a month ago to replace my old computer that got stolen out of my apartment. The case is huge and has incredible airflow and the monitor is easily the best $300 I've ever spent (well...maybe only second to my iPhone).

Uhh, no...it's been working fine so far *crosses fingers*. Meh, if it dies I'll do a purposeful RROD and send it to Microsoft. Or finally get an Elite system...I've been putting it off.

<3 this keyboard. I've had it for...nearly 5 years I think? It's so grimy and crusty as well, lol.
