Okay I know there are some fans within us but I would like to talk as a fan of the books and story over the game kids scream at you and call you noobs. Recently I have come across some articles about another halo movie project buzzing around hollywood. The first concept art is close to the novel the movie is based upon "Fall of Reach". It is a good example that they are taking it in the right direction. That is until this came along http://kotaku.com/5036348/more-halo-movie-concept-art. If anyone has read the books this does not apply to the story at all.
I remember reading how Johnson and the other instructors gave the candidates hell while doing the courses. They would hit them and make them forget about their young child careless mentality. Leave them on baron mountain sides for days on end to figure out how to make it back to camp. The picture makes it look like summer camp game. I remember the book describing the goal bell on the top of a vast forest untouched by any sentient life except for the built obstacle course made by the instructors.
I know that books are always better than movies because each of us have a different imagination but if the movie is to be made it should be done right if not don't do it at all.
