as you may know the heavy melee taunt goes "POW haha!" well I downloaded the VALVE achievement pictures from the VALVE/STEAM website and when going through the pictures I noticed that their names corresponded with the picture and one of them was named heavy_taunt_kill.png and as proof there was a "sanvich" picture and the file name said heavy_kill_scout.png just go to the website and download em and see for yourself :D
 
It's more likely to be in line with the Pyro's achievement that requires you to provide kill cam shots of you using each of your taunts.

heres the full filename tf_heavy_kill_taunt.png and it shows his fingers in the gun position and with a little orange circle around them
 
If I remember my "Meet the <class>" videos correctly... does[n't] the Heavy's gun taunt cause him to explode?

EDIT: The lack of "n't" causes what was meant to be a joke turn into sounding like a noob question. *sigh*

DOH! Bad typing on my part makes the joke less obvious.

And I think it's a crit rocket from Meet the Soldier.
 
Nope! You were misinformed. That achievement is going to be the Heavy's version of the Medic/Pyro achievements where you provide your enemy with a freezecam shot of your taunt. It's obvious by the name and it shows the Heavy's shotgun taunt, the Pyro's version of that achievement showed the Pyro's Axe taunt.

I believe you are wrong. I just looked up the Heavy achievments. Here:

Photostroika - tf_heavy_freezecam_taunt.png this is the one for taunting the enemy on freezecam.

Show Trial - tf_heavy_kill_taunt.png which means this one will be for killing the enemy with the fist taunt. The image shows the Heavy fingers in the taunt motion and a circle aroundd them. The taunt will probably explode people.

Lastly, everyone wanted the taunt to be instakill, so here it is :D
 
Yeah i just downlaoded them... i cant wait for them to release this stuff, im going to stay up as long as i can... :D

nah, not lasers... more grenades, like maybe in a 90 degree arc in front of you.... but then again, splash damage is a BAD thing, so who knows, maybe it will be lasers :D
