Microphone

Well, my microphone has decided to stop working in-game, but outside it works just fine. Any suggestions?

Do a voice test in options and make sure settings are full.

Also are you running XP or Vista?

I know a lot of people who can't use voip in game, but are fine on vent and ts. I dunno how to solve your problem... I was just letting you know you weren't alone.

Battlefield 2 or 2142 don't recognize my mic even though I use it all the time on CS:S or DOD:S. For me, it's a software issue.

Be sure to check if your microphone has any updated drivers for your computer from the manufacturer's website.

I had the problem but then I unplugged the mic, turned my cpu off, then turned it back on and plugged the mic back in. Voila it worked...but that might have been just a lucky deal.
