Saw an old friend, Want to catch up, don't know where to find her...... HELP!

Need some advice. on a serious and bothersom matter (to me) !!

okay guys and gals. I'm posting this here because i'm in need of some advice.

So here's my story.

I'm at work today and I'm moving along. Things are pretty busy so I'm all over and don't have much time to stop. As I'm moving a kart full of things I see an old friend of mine, from elementary/high school. We say "Hi" I ask her how she's doing, but that's the extent of our convo. I was almost done my shift and i needed to get some things done, so I didn't really stop and talk. Afterward, it kinda hit me. I haven't seen her in over a year. We went through all our school years together. Since Jr. Kindergarden, and here I am, giving up my only chance to even have a short conversation with this person.

So I went home and did what most people these days would do. Check facebook. I'm sure she MUST have it, the whole world has it.....and with my luck, she doesn't. So i try to think of who would know her.. I remebered one of my friends lived near her back in the day, I asked him and he's in the same boat as me. (well same model, different direction) He has no contact information for her. Great, now what?

I remember a few people she used to hang out with in elementary school, so I could ask them if they have her phone number or email, but the thing is, they were never the nicest to me, so i don't know if it's a lost cause....

Another option i have is to call all the people with her last name in the phone book... it's not a common name, so it shouldn't be that hard (i hope) but i don't really feel like calling random people...what if there's someone else with the same first name? that would be awkward....


**edit** So there's 4 names in the phone book... not that many....

oh man oh man. I really don't know what to do.. I'm kinda shy with this stuff...... But i really regret not talking to her, it was a friendship that i just let slip away after high school and i think this was my chance to bring it back, but i missed it.....

Well being that you knew her through out elementary school and highschool, you probably know where she lives. If you don't know the exact address just drive on by because you should know the house.

My advice, a good old fashioned letter to her, remember... those ones you write by hand. And if you intentions are to be friends , you just scored like 1000 brownie points. If your intentions are just to rekindle that lost friendship then a letter by hand means so much more than an email or message on Facebook.

^^^^^ HAHA . Just call her, it will be the best ways because she would be surprise that you went through all this trouble just to contact her again.

1. I always call random people for fun. After doing it a few times, you WILL get used to it.

2. Facebook does suck so I'm proud of this young lady for not making one.

Dude, go for it. Hell, I'll call the numbers for you. I'm a bit extrovert I suppose so I don't have trouble with this kind of thing. But really, just do it, are you going to see her a lot at work? or was this one of those times and it'll never happen again type of deal? The worst case scenario is she doesn't want to talk. Best case scenario is left up to the imagination.
