Did anyone get extra achivements for just joining a game?

I joined a game and immediatly got Kunsumption, and Five Second Plan.

For doing nothing.

I had the same trouble. I just exited out of the "preparing to launch" pop-up and right-clicked on TF2, and clicked pause download, and resume download and it worked fine (though it restarted the download)

I got them on start up actually.

Kind of takes away the fun of eating like a fatty.

lol i got those as soon as i got in-game and i got all three new weapons

I got those achievements and thus far haven't seen them removed.

I had Konsumption (eat 100 sandviches), and 5 second plan as soon as the update came out, though I lost Konsumption as soon as I got my sandvich.

Only 5 more achievements till KGB.

weird thing happened to me, I lost some of my prgress on the pyro achievements, specifically the one where you burn an enemy then finish them off with a shotgun. Not a big deal since I already have all the weapons but weird nonetheless
