Are you getting a MEMORY ERROR?

If you get a memory error or any other error that may have been caused by the update, delete tf2_playerstats.dmx in your tf2 folder

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yoursteamname\team fortress 2\tf

Delete it! It helped me from getting all of those errors during TF2. DO IT!

Yes.... I've heard that this is very much a sort of "wonder cure" for anything that isn't functioning that's steam related. This file gets recreated once you play again, but it isn't overloaded with a bunch of crap, so I understand.

This has been patched by the latest update. You should not get an error regardless if you deleted the file.

Oh ok.
I just keep crashing to desktop. Lately, there hasn't even been an error message.
