The url he sends is a total phish. It's a fake steam community page that asks for your steam login and password in order to join his group. Break all contact with this guy. Block him from your friends list, don't accept his requests, and DO NOT put any info on the site of his.

Yes I just got this as well. Then I confronted him because it was my friends account who he stole but he logged off.

The real space grue has a different avatar.

I'm concerned that posting the STEAM id can make it vulnerable, phished or keylogged.

Perhaps a policy change where this information is PM'd (like for applying gfor membership) and not posted would be preferable?

ALSO: Tried using this website's "Contact Us" link concerning this (asking another post be deleted or edited) and got a email saying the message failed.

Well if someone wants your steam id that bad they can join any server anyone plays on and get it that way.
