woah that things HUGE, i guess im not going to Australia

I have seen that type of spider before (not in real life thank god) Spikedhumor.com has all sorts of neat nature show snippets. They are neat to watch but now I'm scared one will pop out and get me.

while we are on the subject I took these pictures at Fort Polk Louisiana, does anybody know what type of spider makes these.

I join you in your hating.

And to paraplegic, if that's the web of the spider I think it is, I really advise you not to get caught. But that particulat spider is not native to that area I believe.

What type of spider Cat? I have been trying to look it up but can't find anything. And don't worry I took those from across the street at the gas station. Thank god for zoom.

I can't stand spiders. I' have a HUGE case of arachnophobia. I got bit by a baby brown recluse a few years back and it rotted a pencil eraser sized hole in the back of my right hand.

One word MoP

That. is metal. lol

I'd probably be in your case if that happend to me. so *shrug* Spiders dont bother me, as long as they aren't on me...along with every other bug in existence. lolz

my arachnophobia is tingling

i'm not particularly scared of spiders.. and even like tarantulas. but that video (the original of this thread) was freakin' scary. all i'm saying is WTH is up with Australia? they have more scary, kill-you-fast-and-dead things there than ANYWHERE else in the world. hell than the whole world put together, and most of what you see there is seen nowhere else.
