One of my absolute favorites by far is Hellgate:London.
Its almost like WoW but in present/futuristic style.
Basicly the story is to slay demons that are trying to take
over the world as you lvl up and upgrade your skills.
Just like WoW.
Its awesome :w00t: + its no monthly payment!!
If you never played it i strongly recommend it!!

I loved Kingdom Hearts 2's boss fights. They were just so freakin' EPIC!

Harder Sephiroth and the battles took more strategy...
Like when you fight the Ice Titan, if you use Aero you can't damage the boss because all the ice particals are too big to reflect with square. But if you have no Aero you can reflect them.
But KH2FM has a better final boss
HE JUST WON'T DIE!!!!
(For all those KH n00bs KH2FM = Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, A true fan would have gotten their hands on this!)

I won't say its the BEST game ever, but as far as MMO's go, it is. Sure WoW has end game content, but getting there is dry and boring. Ragnarok Online has quests and events for all people of all levels.
However, the new 3-1/2 classes are ruining the game.
And WoWs pvp system sucks. If you've ever played RO, you know WoE.
I won't say its the BEST game ever, but as far as MMO's go, it is. Sure WoW has end game content, but getting there is dry and boring. Ragnarok Online has quests and events for all people of all levels.

Kinda hard to decide, but I'll have to go with the Half-Life series. Besides World of Warcraft and the series as a whole, it's the only FPS-game to have an awesome story that's kept me interested enough to buy them all just to experience it all, instead of reading from HLwiki. Also one of the few games that I can plow through 2x+ times without going "Hey I remember this.. *ragequit*".

Didn't read any posts but a couple above mine, seems like a lot of opinions.
LITERALLY one of the best games of all time is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Extremely good story-telling and gameplay, just like all the other Metal Gear Solid games - can't comment on the old Metal Gear games since I have never really played any. MGS4 combines amazing story components with very unique gameplay, it has lots of customization to suit your playstyle. MGS1 and MGS2 you had to sneak since Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid is tactical espionage. When MGS3 came out they made it so you can choose to shoot more than sneak if you wished to do so. MGS4 was made to reach an even greater number of players, you can choose to sneak around with a silencer on but one of the numerous guns available or decide to kill everyone who gets in your way, regardless of being seen or not.
MGS4 has breath-taking visuals and remarkable gameplay, definitely one of the best games ever created. If you haven't play it, I suggest you rent it/buy it or find a friend that has a PS3 and play it with him, you won't be disappointed.
