Goldeneye for sure. That game was king for multiplayer action. Contra on the NES was perfect. Operation Flashpoint finally nailed home realistic FPS. Strategy.... not sure there are so many 4X and RTS game titles out there that are good C&C, Red Alert, Starcraft, AOE. COH is amazing for WW2 rts.

007 Goldeneye was for the win, for sure! I like Dragon Warrior III on Gameboy Color, though.
