My first signature

I decided to have a go myself and create a signature, so I had a look around the tutorials and had a go. This is what I came up with:

I know it isn't very good but I think its a reasonable first attempt .

Sorry about modding the E logo, I tried to change it back to normal but Adobe wouldn't have it. If it is any problem I'd be happy to remove it. I also couldn't figure out of to round of corners, any help would be appreciated thanks.

and way too much text too (some of which is cut off?)

i like it, and to make the corners rounded watch this

so you just make that rounded corner shape, then do what he said, except the difference with ou would be the corners.

make it a lot smaller width and height.

Try even smaller then mine.
Don't use script font's, too hard to read.
Also try keeping the logo for the e thing clean without any glow.

yeah, lol just take the glow off.
If you are going to use glow mix it up and keep it down on the opacity 40-70 range. Try a different color maybe?

Thanks for the advice, I know what you mean it does contain to much and it a bit er bright .

Is the signature I'm using now any better?

Im not too big a fan off gradients. But its OK, and im sure you'll eventually find a style that you really enjoy creating, and when you do its a matter of what ou use in them, btw there are some sites that you should check out like Dafont im sure you can find a tut on how to upload fonts if you use any fonts that you download from there and planetrenders which you can get pictures that are already cut out

Thanks for the advice, they were very useful. I think the gradient looks okay on my signature, I wouldn't recommend it though. But if I'm honest the signature looks okay.

Your quickly developing the habit I got into when I started.
4 Corners and something in the middle.
Get creative bud, read some tutorials, mess with the blending options and figure out how to make some cool backgrounds!

mess areound like bio said, and for any cool text effects ir anything you mught wanna use, or even to watch how other people creat their sigs go to youtube, its what i did.
