Watch out for wrongly accusing members for sprays!

Yesterday I was in the new Arena Servers in TF2 and someone sprayed a 2 girls one cut spray. I saw it, informed one of the eGOs on, and he told me he took care of who did it. I then tried to spray over it so no one could see it. Another eGO came along and accused me of spraying it, i told him i was trying to cover it up, he told me he was using something that told him who sprayed it, and the name came back was me, as if I did it. I was willing to do anyting to prove it wasnt me that did it, so I sprayed somewhere else, and he said the spray he saw me do was that specific 2 girls one cup video and he accused me of "playing games". Luckily the previous admin there that had taken care of it backed me up and told him it wasnt me. All im saying is, i know you guys have great rules, and the reason im part of this clan is yall follow it to a "T". But sometimes it seems the tool you guys use to figure who sprayed it is faulty and should be careful not to wrongly accuse people. I even went as far as spraying my spray somewhere else to prove it to him and he said the spray that came out was the offensive one we were trying to get rid of. I dont know how that is possible or might work, but be conscious that sometimes there is screw up in Mod and that the tool used is faulty. Thanks for reading this long ass thread. Love you guys.

I play TF2 at Squirrel masters house, I can see whats on his screen if i look, Sometimes i look =). But anyways, Yes i was there and someone else sprayed the offencive spray and we were only trying to help. Thanks to the one admin that did know what was going on. Mistakes happen. And you guys always fix mistakes. <3

Our spraytrace is a bit faulty, we currently got an update that allows us to better judge who sprays what spray.

It'll take some getting used to, though.

Its not cause for serious alarm Squirrel, we have pretty good standards on proof of guilt. And anyone that issues a ban is required to report it. The system they have set up works good.

If he would have traced it under his new spray menu, and sprayed it at another location it would have shown who's spray it was.

I dont know how that would work. but thank, just wanted to make sure no one was screwed over by someone else spray or by faulty spray mod. And im also very happy to see you guys on top of things.

on my screen it was my spray. but on the admin that was accusing me (when i resprayed it somewhere else) it showed up as the 2 girls 1 cup spray.

what i think happened was he sprayed first, then someone else came and sprayed the offencive spray, So it kept his name under it. But i don't understand how the admin saw the same spray somewhere else when he resprayed his normal spray. But he was the only one that saw it, Everyone else there said they saw the squirrel master spray.

zzz are there rules about sprays in this group? cause i havent seen it. not that i think its ok for inapproprite sprays.

Actually, I was the 'other' admin in there, though my game bombed in between map changes. The issue is that you were not properly describing the spray, you didn't say '2 girls one cup.' When I looked up your user info I recognized the avatar as the 'offensive' spray I thought I was seeing.

FYI, your avatar makes a terrible spray, in the grainy spray it looks like the thumb on the right side of the image is not a thumb, but the male genitalia. When the image is stretched out, it looks like an image that has had the male genitalia badly edited in. My mistake for interpreting your spray as the 'bad spray' you were asking for help with.

As I joined after the original user had left, I'm guessing I couldn't see the 2g1c spray. Do you know the name of the eGO helping you previously? If so, please point him towards This Thread in eG private. There is no more need to cover the spray as we can actually remove the spray from the game.
