When was your first time on an eGO server?

I remember mine, it was 2fort, I really liked the 500 minute clock as it made games last longer, I also remember forgetting to add it to my favourites (It was the third server I had ever been on) so after trawling through loadsa 2fort maps, i finally found it again and BOY WAS I HAPPY!

Dustbowl for me.

We had a loooong gaming session, each cap tightly contested. 2muchfun. Then some dork started dropping f-bombs over mic; I was going to leave (who wants to play w/someone like that?) but then an admin took care of it. I stayed and eventually joined the ranks

24/7 AVA when I got DoD:S early last year. I didn't join eGO until I bought The Orange Box.

eh, i thought i should post it in here as its talking about games and your first time on an eGO server in game, but hey im just a midget

well, it all started when i bought the css/dod/hl2dm package this from walmart, i was playing dod, waiting for people to get into the server that i was a regular on, and chose a random server which happened to be eGO 24/7 ava so i played there, kept coming back every so often and eventually started to play on strand server, then became a regular on strand, then i got orange box from my friend for Christmas, installed tf2, joined a random server, which happened to be the eGO 24/7 2fort, played there for about a week then joined the clan

At a friends house, learning to play as the spy on 2Fort. I always thought getting a single backstab was cool.

My first time was in Black Mesa. I had been messing around with gold rush and another one but I loved the capture points game on Black Mesa. That and every time I was in there people were always super nice and I loved the no swearing thing even though I was guilty of doing it once or twice when I first started :< Anyway that was my first time!

my first was in Dod:s on the old Orange Map server when KK was still around. I loved playing with all those people and pretty much joined right off the bat... joined the KK house but then they left which disappointed me a lot and I ended up in the raiders!

Mine was a loooong time ago when I was still part of the 352nd. The clan had just started to go their separate ways and I hopped on eGO's 2Fort. I played for a little while then started playing on other servers again. Apparently even though the time spent was short it hit a chord with me or something, because months later when I picked up DoD I instinctively knew that the eGO servers would be a good place for me to learn how to play. I was already somehow aware that others weren't allowed to hassle me for not being good. Few weeks after that, I joined up.

Well I first played on 2Fort I believe on TF2. This was long before I decided to join. I played it once or twice, and visited the ego website to check you all out. Then 3 months or so later I was playing DODS with a friend and he picked a server, and it was an EGO server, so I remembered the name. Once I quit my clan about 3 weeks after that, I joined this one.

24/7 ava earlier this year....moved to 24/7 flash a month later never looked back.

Well, I officially broke my eGO cherry on the 24/7 Regular Respawn 2fort server (then again, there was no instant spawn server when I started playing...). Anyhow, after about 15/20 minutes of sniping (and owning Sixxgunn/DJSatan), I was added to BOTH of their friends list with both of them asking me to join... And now, 5 months later, here I am.. Still playing 2fort --instant respawn nonetheless.

Man, its weird to think, if none of us had stumbled acoss these servers we miht still be trawling through servers full of bad swearing, rude sprays etc...

I used to play on the 9th rangers 24/7 Kalt server until it dissappeared. After a short DoD break I found EGO's 24/7 Kalt server and I have loved it ever since. I joined the clan after playing as a regular on it for a long time. The best part was seeing that several players from the old server I played on (methebutcher, Mongo, Solnav) had also found their way to EGO's Kalt server. Several of those players also joined the clan. Two out of the three I just mentioned are now house leaders!

The mature rules are what hooked me in. You play any game on XBOX Live and people are swearing every other word no matter what game you play. You play with EGO and no one does that.
