Connection problems?!

I was playing on cp_steel and every 15 seconds or so I start lagging and I get that Auto Disconnect Warning in the top right corner for three seconds then I'm back in the game. It's very frustrating and I can't even play with it. I went to another server (non eGO) and didn't really encounter the problem. I restarted my computer and modem. I don't know what to do! Please help!

Also in general the servers seem to acting up especially cp_steel (I've been playing there a lot I don't know about others) is there something wrong on server hosts end or something?

P.S. I'm getting FiOS soon so this shouldn't be a problem for much longer

just so ya know bubba, ur not the only 1. i get the same issue on my system as well on some of the eGO servers. i believe the council is looking into it. ive gotten used to it. also i have cable, so i know it shouldnt be an issue for me, but sometimes it is.

yea steel tends to randomly reset/ disconnect so i dont think you should be too concerned about it, i wish they had vios in my area haah time warner sucks

Thanks for the advice! It's good to know I'm not the only one suffering! Hope we can get this problem fixed ASAP! Don't want to miss out on a second of good ol' eGO fun!
