I'm currently using Firefox, and sharing a router box with 3 seperate computers.

On two of these computers, everything is perfectly fine. However, on one of these, sometimes it won't work.
It'll connect, it'll show a connection, but I can't go online. It won't receive or send data, but the connection will be open.

Halp?

try resetting your router/modem and if not it is most likely one of your router settings that keeps only 2 connections open rather than all (the computer gets the signal but then the router refuses to send or receive any data from it), im not sure where you could find that particular setting but to access it just type in your ip address into mozilla address box

did this start happening recently, or has it always been the case? if it's a new development, then it could be a software issue (did you install or change something on the problem machine), or a hardware issue (the network card has failed, the cable has gone bad, or maybe that port on the router has failed). try troubleshooting all of that first. the easiest thing to check is the network port...plug your computer into one of the ports you know works (one another machine is plugged into) and see if it connects.

Its been going on and off for a few weeks now, and I already have tried disabling and re-enabling my box.
