texture glitching

Hi

dunno if this happens to you guys/gals, but every so often while playing tf2 it will freeze up for ~10 seconds. When it recovers a bunch of the textures will be glitched. Probably need to upgrade my nvidia drivers or something. Anyways thought I would share a few of the funnier screenshots.

This is a /blue/ scout next to a leet chrome dispenser.

The only glitch I get is sometimes my Backburner keeps going when I am done.. and I have to switch weapons to remove it. It might be your video drivers, I would say update them.

HACKS!!!! heh.. this happened after updating to a newer version nvidia drivers?

Hey Ack - I have a laptop / nvidia setup that freezes and recovers, or sometimes glitches when doing alt-tab since i don't run windowed mode (for performance reasons)

however, if you do a search on "bind alt-tab" in the forums there ar e a couple of solutions.

You've unlocked the secret silver minigun! I sometimes get texture glitches after alt+tabbing back to windows, but these are a lot worse than the typical pink/black blocks or glitched fog/water. I would uninstall your video drivers completely, reinstall the latest from the nvidia webpage, and if the problem persists reinstall the game itself. What kind of temperatures is your gpu running at during gameplay? You can check in your nvidia control panel.

Really? I get this problem in Battlefield 2, Cod4, TF2, and DoD:S.

Maybe I should look into another fan.

wow i was in the same boat it was a problem to do with os paged pool memory low do you ever get that message?
