So here is my top ten for best Arnold movies enjoy!

10) Batman and Robin
What else can I say about this train wreck? Often referred to as the worst batman movie and certainly not the best Arnold movie I thought he brought a certain charm to this classic comic book character. This movie tells you the back story about how the scientist Victor Freeze became a villain and his quest to save his dying wife. Full of cheesy one liners and wildly colored sets this one has earned itself the last spot on this list for lack of that great Batman movie quality we so desperately needed.

9) Kindergarten Cop
In this quirky less action packed roles this light hearted comedy still has face punching and great Arnold quotes. Arnold takes on the role of an out of place teacher in charge of class full kindergarteners to find the son of a malicious criminal. While you still get to see Arnold kick a little ass it?s not a big enough fix.

8) The 6th Day
I happen to be a huge sucker for Science Fiction so this had to be on the list. In the year 2015 cloning of animals has become legal while human cloning has been banned for years. Switching places with another employee to go home for his birthday his friend Hank was killed. Thinking it was Hank (Arnolds Char.) Drucker clones him to prevent any one from knowing, except when he goes home to find someone else in his house. If you like Sci-fi I suggest this as a rent. Not the greatest ever filmed but hey it?s the govenator remember?

7) True Lies
Co-starring the still very hot horror queen of the seventies Jamie Lee Curtis this movie has it all secret agents, explosions and Tom Arnold. Arnold plays a Secret Agent unbeknownst to his family. When he suspects his wife of cheating he follows her and catches her in a compromising position with a lowly car salesman. Making up a fake spy mission you get to see her go from plain Jane house wife to smoking hot hooker in no time. While on the fake mission it gets busted in on by the real terrorists Arnold has been after and they get kidnapped. I recommend this movie fro purchase this one is definitely worth the purchase.

6) Conan the Barbarian
This is the movie that brought us the Arnold for the first time. After his parents are killed when he was a child he is sold into slavery and later becomes a gladiator. After gaining his freedom and sets off to avenge his parents along the way he agrees to rescue Princess Yasmin and get his revenge barbarian style.

5) Predator
What could be better then Arnold alone in the jungle setting traps for a vagina faced alien? Oh yeah it co-stars Jesse Ventura. This movie introduced us to one of the most bad ass aliens of all time. While somewhere in Central America to rescue hostages from guerilla terrorists. The Special Forces unit unknowingly encounters a crash landed hostile alien out for the hunt. This one is just a classic! If you haven?t seen this movie I?m coming through the computer to kick your butt now.

4) Running Man
In this dystopian future Arnold plays Military man Ben Richards. Framed and thrown in prison only to have a broad get him caught again he is forced into entering into TV?s most popular show ?The Running Man.? Making the mistake of pissing him off he tears the show a new one. Originally a book by Stephen King this was a great adaptation into a film.

3) Total Recall
I have three words for this movie. Mutants. Midgets. Machine Guns. Centered on the red planet Quad keeps dreaming about Mars so he goes to Total Recall to implant a vacation there. Something goes wrong and they learn he?s already been there. On a quest to regain his memory, he goes to Mars where he meets Kuato a psychic mutant and leader of the resistance. This is another must see Arnold film for sure. Again look at the three words. LOOK AT THEM!

2) The Terminator series
One of the most memorable movies of all time most famous for that 3 word line ?I?ll be back.? The first movie has him playing a bad ass murdering cyborg from the future out to kill Sara Conner so Skynet doesn?t have to deal with the human resistance in the future. Judgment Day he returns but this time reprogrammed as a protector. You also get to see the coolest bad guy in action. Yeah you guessed it T-100. It?s also got one of the best chase scenes ever a chopper and a semi-truck. If you haven?t seen these movies seriously get off the internet.

1) Commando
Hands down the greatest Arnold movie EVER! To sum it up appropriately it?s the equivalent of a 24 case of whoop ass. Playing John Matrix a retired Special Forces member is kidnapped along with his daughter; by a member of his unit thought to be dead. Forced to make a political assassination he kills the guy and sets off to rescue his daughter. If there is one movie on this list you have to see it has to be this one. It has everything a great action movie should have; face punching, bullets, explosions, and Arnold jumping out of a plane while it?s taking off. You heard me right. Now get out there and start watching these movie!

Dude... Terminator 2 > Commando ANYDAY. Also Total Recall = Travesty to Science Fiction. I'm still sad there's only two good movies based off of a Philip K. Dick novel, and one of those good ones STILL absolutely massacres the meaning and story of the novel. :(

My opinion. Commando was way better than T2. Not that T2 wasn't a good movie. AND WHAT? I didn't know it was a novel.

Well, in all fairness Total Recall was based on a short story, but even so... Philip K. Dick just hasn't been done any justice.

The two GOOD Philip K. Dick films are:

Blade Runner (Massacred the book. Removed it's meaning. Ruined the story. The only reason why I consider it 'good' is because it set the precedence for Cyberpunk, it had Harrison Ford, and the guy who played the villain was cewl. The book was entitled Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?)

and

A Scanner Darkly (It actually STUCK to the original story, even though it changed much, it did the story justice as well as it's surreal, bizarre style)

I would add 'Minority Report,' but while it stuck to the original story for the most part, I didn't think it was very well made.

Total Recall was originally entitled "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale". It was a novella. You can find it in his short story collection as well as a publication that has several short stories/novellas that inspired several movies such as The Fly and A Christmas Story.

OH! And I was going to say 'Where's True Lies? That movie was awesome!' but then I saw it on the list :D.

And I don't dislike Commando, but I guess I'm a bit biased since I prefer Sci-Fi over straight up action. When Terminator 2 first came out, I cried tears of happiness at how awesome everything from the action to the special effects were.

best movie he's been in is being the govenator for california ^_^

T2 >> Commando, no match there. Croutons it is somewhat unfair to compare films to their books mainly because of the medium change. Rarely the author of the book writes the screenplay, and even then it is different. Look at 2001, and maybe Fahrenheit 451. Some books cannot be written in images, which is what a film is. I agree with you on Total Recall, but Blade Runner is a good film, you should read the screenplay.
