People who HATE games because they said they "cheat".

My lil bro is playing ocarina of time and he couldnt open a door and beat a boss.

THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVER IT CHEATS OMGOMG! So i do it, and beat it. he goes. YEAH IT ONLY WORKS FOR YOU. So he does another thing. BREAKS my controller because he cant beat the game because it "cheats"

I absoltely HATE THIS. Nothing gets me madder. Deal with it. its a game

Haha I'm sure at one time or another when I was younger I said something like that. My solution now is to quit playing calm down and I can beat in seconds when I go back to it. Anger and trying to fight/solve puzzles means you loose all ability to concentrate at the task at hand.:D

Getting frustrated at games actually helped temper me.

There I was playing the original Mortal Kombat on Sega Genesis. I kept getting humiliated by the AI. As I lost match after match, I got more and more angry. Finally, I got so mad, that I let out a frustrated grunt and chucked the controller.

"That was dumb," I thought. "The controller is just a thing, and the game is just a game. What point is there in getting mad at things? Besides, what if I broke my controller? I have to calm down."

Right after that epiphany, I laughed each time I got killed. I enjoyed the game for the sake of the challenge. Losing didn't matter and winning didn't matter much more either. I simply enjoyed the game.

You did say he was your little brother.
Be understanding, we were all brats once. :)

The King's Quest games by Sierra were infamous for being nearly impossible to complete; occasionally, my mouse would meet my wall at tremendous speed while attempting to play. :(

I really don't understand why people get frustrated at video games. I mean you are playing to relax and have fun. Getting angry not only ruins the fun but usually affects your gameplay.

I did this to cure myself too. After getting mad at an enemy I would simply stop and ask myself why I was frustrated. It worked like a charm. You end up seeing how silly you really are.

Oh and laughing every time you die is a good strategy. It helps keep you in a good mood.

My friend at one point scared the hell out of me.

We were playing the original adventure (which for all of you non-retro types was all text based, with no graphics at all. It would describe where you were, and you had some basic commands). We were in this section called the pirate's maze, which is a completely non-mappable. if you go left one square, there is no guarantee that you would end up one square left of where you just were. you could be in the same place, even. and because it was text based, of course, it could get very frustrating.

He threw the mouse at the wall with such force that not only did it break the mouse, but it actually put a hole in the wall. It was incredible.

i dont know what it is, i just have never been able to actually get mad at a game...

Never have i thrown something, never have i punched holes in walls... im immune

You know what really grinds my gears?
Not that but a number of things.

Socialism, Communism, Hatesism(racism), Young kids yelling on ventrillo, Anti-Mac people, USA PATRIOT Act, Unconstitutional ism, Microsoft, games like Space Siege, People who have no idea what they are doing... Just a few things on my list of 298 things

I've never actually said a game cheated. Although I have called a game unfair...Ninja Gaiden 2

I have thrown my controller before due to frustration, like missing a critical 3 pointer on nba live or getting intercepted in madden. Unfortunately, i broke one of my 2 controllers, had to buy a new one after. :(

And i also have accidentally punched a hole in my wall that isnt game related.
Tip: never skate board in your room :D

Several months ago I was playing TF2 and I got really mad so I grabbed my wireless keyboard and snapped it over my leg.... it didn't feel good at all and a key nailed me right in the eye lol.

I'll occasionally say that the game hacks, but I'll keep playing. I just like to get my frustration out verbally, because I have a tendency to break things. :(

When I gamed on consoles I would throw the controller religiously. But, I got used to not doing that when I got my PSP when they came out. The controller is the console and vice versa. lol I didn't feel like paying for a new PSP if I broke it. :D

I remember after beating sonic adventure 2 battle (great sonic game or the greatest sonic game?) and After trying to get all A ranking on all levels I eventually heaved my controller out my door, across the hall, into my dent, and hitting my sister.

It was hilarious.
