Basically I'm gonna go ahead and post this since everybody in my area is making a big fuss about the possibility that Gustav is heading this way (I'm in southeast Texas, btw)

If they call for evac, We'll probably be heading out Sunday night, sooo.....please don't kick me from group if i don't message or show up in a while. last time this happened (Hurricane Rita), i was out of the area for a good 2-3 weeks. Hopefully all will go well. Interestingly enough, my university has already call for a couple days off till Tuesday (to gauge which way this storm is gonna go).

All others of EGo who think they're gonna have to evac for this storm too, please post here. We'll see how many might be truly affected by Gustav. I'll start it off...

*DING*

I live in North western Louisiana (5hours out of Dallas) we are certainly going to feel the effects of the hurricane that's supposed to hit New Orleans.

im glad this one didnt go for south florida. For you guys out there that might or will get hit, wish you the best of luck and stay safe.

I live about 20 miles east of Pensacola FL (Too close to Wolf I tells ya!) and There are 4 Hurricanes and potential hurricanes lined up, and with my luck, all aimed for my doorstep, But Unless any become a Cat 5 I ain't moving

Hopefully everyone stays safe - not just in eGO, but everyone affected.

I live way up in South Dakota, so we don't get affected by hurricanes. We get to deal with tornadoes instead.

Anyways, like I said, keep safe everyone.

I"m officially evacuating. HOpefully will be in dallas soon. Later guys, hope to see ya in about a week.

I live in Pharr,Tx. I can walk to the border in 5 minutes and see my family if I want. Dolly hit us just as a category 2 when it hit land and was a cat. 1 when it hit my city. For it being small it did considerable damage and flooding in the rural parts of the Rio Grande Valley. I don't know what will happen for now but I am keeping track of the storm.
