Jail a real server

So, I think Jail should be a normal eGO server, how about all of you guys?

I don't think so, since mainly all the eGO servers are FBG.

EDIT: I like jail server maps too, but I'm not sure if eGO would allow it.

Okay so it attracts many people, however it attracts both crowds.

So there would always need to be an admin on it. And the rules would have to be posted in motd.

Hell no. Anyways jail server won't even be THAT popular. A zombie mod server will do much better as more people have heard of it and want to play it. I know a lot of people from the DoD division who only play CS for the zombie mod and wont ever play on eGO CS:S servers. I personally go to my friend's server for some zombie mod since i really love it.

Actually, the jail server always seems to have lots of people on it, more than some zombie servers and zombie mod is slowly dieing do to its age because its getting less popular. Jail is fairly new and is so far quite popular. Since it is getting popular it is also in need of probably different jail maps in the future but is fine for now. I think its really fun to play on and I've noticed it welcoming more people to the clan. I thinksome people might have been scared to join because they were getting pawned on our regular servers and this alllows them to see EGO other than a bunch of pawners. I also like the jail server because it helps me get away from FBG and don't have to worry about my stats and awards and it doesn't envolve u really having to be good(though I am). I just think we should keep the jail server up, it is alot of fun!

Well ya rogue it needs the rule on Motd that sure. And Insurge whe already tried Zombie mod but it worked well at start after there was like a max of 7 peps on it ... And artic yes that is true what you said and i forgot Insurge Zombie mod WILL die when L4D will come out...
And prokiller whe have 4 FBG servers so if tehre is one that will have no FBG it would still be ok lol

We had a zombie mod server, it failed, since I was the only one that EVER played in it.

Ok, here could be an idea, We could do hosties mod maps, it is the same as jail, but it changes up the maps and stuff. The have a bunch of hosties maps, THEY EVEN HAVE ALCATRAZ. But also valiant fluffy is making a new Jail map, so we will see how that is. (His map will be done no later than sunday says a source)

little off topic, but still dealing with a jail map..

I was wondering for a jail server, would it be possible to run DM on it, but have where the ct's spawn and T's spawn have a weapon stripper so that they cant have guns unless they are on the map?


This could make it more popular as you will not be sitting out as long if you die.

well T's has a weapon stripper and ct dosent need they just have a weapon_cache someting like that so they start off with knife and if someone dies while whe are at soccer he would relive and go get guns easily....
