Poll : Favorite map type?

Hey all.

So, I'm messing around, trying to find myself some inspiration for a new map.

I was wondering what map type you guys all like best. If there is an overwhelming favorite, I might just start work on one of those.

So what is your favorite map type?


EDIT: I forgot to include payload in the list... if you want payload (or any unlisted type, for that matter) post about it.... I'll count it manually.

I picked attack/defend CP - I play dustbowl a lot. Plus, payload is a lot of fun too.

i really like the arena because you dont have to keep your mind on protecting some thing so you just have to kill to win

Payload is my vote.... <3 DB Heights and goldrush...but then i would have to go with a "Black Mesa" type control point map..

Currently, payload = 5 votes... looking like CTF is the run-away winner though. It's too bad, because I'm not a big fan of ctf myself

And yes, Steve, I did. I couldn't think of any more sniper maps.

don't get me wrong...i do love a good CTF map...for some reason i haven't really dabbled into 2FORT too much yet...but i LOVED convoy...that was the very first eGO server i played on and then decided to join... somethin to be said about a good payload map tho...takes a lot of teamwork to get through all 3 stages of maps to win the round.

I like equal CP and arena equally I recommend making a new post with pl and make it multi optioned incase people have more than one.
