Goldrush Server Lag Issues

So today August 31 from 9-11pm pacific time the eGO Goldrush server has having some SEVERE lag issues. For no apparent reason the server would slow to a choppy unplayable mess for everyone and my ping doubled. It stayed like this for around 10 minutes. This happened 3 times while I was playing and I am certain it was not an issue for me alone as everyone on the team was complaining about it. Not exactly sure what was going on, but it made the game unplayable. Just thought I should bring this up

This happened on Warpath, too. Someone mentioned that the eGO servers have been a little buggy lately. I haven't had a problem in the past hour or two though.

It seems to be resolved hopefully. No issues have been reported in the past few hours.

I have problems on all the eGo servers, especially when I was on blackmesa yesterday. My connection is the best it could be, so I'm guessing it must be the server. But I really don't know.

I've been getting it on several servers, but Goldrush is the worst. My guess is the hardware just needs a basic restart/debugging to get things back to optimal.

That happened to me but then the lag stopped and it was fine.

This has been happening on at least the Warpath2 and Goldrush servers this evening, from around 9-10 EDT at least. Anybody know what's up?

I am sure the eGO members are looking into it. It takes time to troubleshoot so just give it time. I know it sucks but it will all come back to normal. I think the servers are located in Texas but think about the hurricane that hit Louisiana. That could do something because its going into the NE part of texas as it dies out. anyone think about that?

As i said in the other thread about the lag issues:

The DLs have been notified. I'm sure this problem will be fixed promptly. Just try to tough it out. It usually lasts about 5 minutes and goes back to normal. Don't let the lag drop the player amounts. BE STRONG and fight the lag.

yeah i joined today gold rush and on some points it was lagging for everybody and im usually at 35 or 55 ping and went to the 90s
