it would make sense too, if g-man wants to put a military man into containment, why not into a universe with arbitrary military objectives etc etc
not to mention the pyro also technically never talks

opposing force was more innovative than blue shift anyway

You do realise that the pyro is infact a suit, and therefore can feel no remorse or pity as it mecilessly fries your corpse and victory dances?
 
I kind have always wondered why there werent any girls as class characters in this game. Perhaps Pyro is a girl!
 
They could the pyro mask off and it could be Pat from saturday night live...that would freak me out
