I'm just curious what the people that play Sniper regularly set their mouse sensitivity to. I turn it up fairly high on all classes, but when I switch to Sniper with high mouse sensitivity, I have a lot of problems lining shots up quickly and usually get beat by other Snipers. Does it just take practice or is it better to lower the sensitivity for sniping?

200 dpi, 9.6 sensitivity (in-game menu) and 90-degree FOV.

My sensitivity is set to 10.6 that's how I get all my quick 180 back stabs ;).I don't snipe a lot but when I do I generally set it down lower.

3.3 I snipe a fair bit and I move around alot and when I move with my keyboard and mouse it's challenging for me to aim -.-.

a lot

I use like 15 or 16 sensitivity on an 800 dpi mouse.

I have alwase ran 10, no matter the steam game or weather I am snipeing or normal guns. I like to be able to turn around fast hehe.

**the best way to find what works for you is to look, say at a window. then pick a spot anywhere within veiw....lets say another window. close your eyes then try to put your mouse on the spot you picked and adjust accordingly. its the best way

Wow, everyone likes high sensitivity. I snipe all of the time and my sensitivity is lower than 2 in-game on 800 DPI. I compensate with very fast mouse movement.

Mines always set high - 14.7
1000 dpi usually, 800 for long maps like floodzone, I got the microsoft mouse that can switch dpi on the fly

mouse sensitivity in game changes with the mouse and the mouse settings :)

I keep mine the same as when I normally play any class.

THis is why I am so elite with the sniper, spy, etc...

:D

I think mine is at 8.something. I can't remember. It all depends on the mouse and mouse pad though. Just experiment and use what you feel the most comfortable with.

I use the default speed for everything. I would try adjusting it, but it might tarnish my otherwise perfect Newb image.

I usually use the normal, but I enjoyed 5.0 the one time I tried it. Dunno, it seems to be easier to pick off Scouts with a higher sensitivity :P
