New mouse and Keyboard

I need a new mouse and keyboard, right now i have a standad keyboard and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. For a mouse im looking for one with 5 bottons (left, right middle, and 2 by the thumb) again was hoping for some suggestions.

also what are your thoughts on wireless, is there lag is it faster?


thanx for any suggestions, what i have right now is old worn out and quite sticky (dont eat oranges and play games at the same time, 30 times)

get a wolfking keyboard and an a4tech x7 mouse (model x-710)

ok for a mouse, i personally have the Logitech G5 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104076)

I love it, great accuracy, great DPI, great everything... and totally customizable weight

As for a keyboard, i have the Saitek Cyborg, its a good keyboard, but from some people they have had problems, so im thinking its a hit or miss type product

If you are looking for a keyboard, i would go with the logitech g15, its a bit more expensive, but i have heard it is a great keyboard

IMO, i would never go wireless, you just cant always trust them working, and with a wired, you know if its plugged in 99.9% of the time it will work, so i would stay away from wireless

G15 FOR THE ***KEN WIN i have it and i LOVE IT awesome keyboard and as for a mouse the G5 is good so i hear but i got the Mx518 its got just about all the buttons you need and it works fine i have NEVER had any problems with my keyboard/mouse .... LIE only problem is i dont have a mouse pad so io have to clean the feet like 4 times a week cause of the dirt and stuff lol other then cleaning its awesome stuff


also like Arn0t said DON'T GET WIRELESS you go thru batterys lots and you also have game lag that can make or brake you in game i used to have wireless but it SUCKS to glitchy for gaming

Gonna be honest I have the 3G (Razor) mouse, and I love it. It's so easy to customize, and it was a lot better than my old microsoft mouse. It has 7 buttons and I found myself actually using them all...

ehhh im a little iffy on getting the saitek cyborg, yeah i did get one for myself, but it isnt the greatest thing on the face of the earth... i find that the space bar does get a little sticky from time to time, and from other people i have heard of their macro keys not functioning correctly... so like i said in my post, its a hit or miss product

G5 Mouse a Must. you can adjust the weight.change sensitivity withing the game.Great mouse overall.I have 2 of them. As for Keyboard I use ergonomic keyboard for the wrist lifting. very confi.

DO NOT GO WIRELESS if you consider your self a gamer.

logitech G5 is very good 200dpi. I own it myself its really good

I love my g5 mouse. fits my hand well, very smooth, and has been trouble free since I got it more than 2 yrs ago. I thought about the mx518 mouse but for the extra $10 go for the g5.

I run a g15 keyboard and its great thougj big. Takes up a lot of desk space, though I have the older blue keyed one. But easy to customize keys and set up how you like.

I have been using the Saitek Eclipse II and the Logitech G5 for the past 1.5 years and have had nothing but complete satisfaction with both of them. I love the backlighting on the keyboard, and the G5 is very nice.

i can only recommend the G15 keyboard it's so nice...

The little screen on it doesn't work for any valve online games tho

Mouse: Microsoft HABU. I've had it for over a year and it still works great.
7 programmable buttons, click scroll wheel, 2 DPI switching buttons, and blue lighting.
You can create 5 different configuration schemes, save them to your mouse, and if you take your mouse to a different computer the configurations are all saved in the mouse. neat (there's a button on the bottom of the mouse for changing your configs.)

Keyboard: Get one you like the looks of, because a keyboard really doesn't help you in gaming. macro keys sound neat; really, they're not.
