Regarding server lag.(Unofficial)

As many of us all know and for those who do not there has been lag issues during the day on numerous or all servers. I know from personal experience that 2fort instant was and other from other members talking about it on the forums and on shout box. I just want to say that i am sure it is being taken care of and it will take time. Maybe it just needs a reboot or something more. I dont really know but what i do know is that please there is no need to make multiple threads about it. I know there is just one so far but I am just saying it because I feel it needs to be said. Since that is out of the way let just all wait i know it sucks to wait but once they are back they are eGO severs after all which means they are the best ones to play at. See you all online when everything's back to normal

P.S. I am not entirely sure on this but i think the servers are located in northern Texas. If so please keep in mind that is where hurricane or maybe tropical storm Gustav is heading so that could be related to the server issue.

Agreed. Been Baaad server lag and u could be right its been happening ever since hurricane gustav but u never kno could be something small. Cant wait to own in 2fort again

I remember I refreshed my servers and there was only like 5 on so I think I saw them restarting the servers

I know I've had some really bad lag on Steel, but probably due to my crappy computer that I was playing on I'm gonna assume it was more me pushing the limits of my 8 year old graphics card than a bad connection.
2fort instant has had no problems for me, but I was offline for a couple days, so I dunno.

There was massive lag on 2fort today. I could dodge the sentry felt like i was in the matrix

Like pedro said. The DLs have been notified. I'm sure this problem will be fixed promptly. Just try to tough it out. It usually lasts about 5 minutes and goes back to normal. Don't let the lag drop the player amounts. BE STRONG and fight the lag.

So I went through redownloading TF2 + Steam for that? Oh boy. Now I see it's a server-side issue for the most part.
