Mic

I want to use my $$$ to get a mic but i no nuthing about it. Iy would be great if some1 could tell me where, wut, and how much i should get 1 for. thanks. oh and btw i mite get a bluetooth...if that will work.

personally i dont do wireless when it comes to my PC just cause it can be slower. you can get interference and it can become a real mess. altec lansing makes pretty good headsets for a reasonable price. also i think some people here just get ten dollar ones from walmart.

I got a $9.99 Labtec one at Fry's that works fine for me.....a mic is a mic....in game or on teamspeak, the quality doesnt matter....these programs arent HD quality or anything..

IMHO skip the wireless. Bluetooth is not quite there yet for gaming. If you MUST have wirelss I have a Microsoft LifeChat ZX-6000 wireless that works pretty well.

ya i got mine from wal-mart and it works perfect and i got it for 20$ and and it is very clear so whatever you want but just go with the 1 that hooks up to the computer

The best advise i can give is to get as cheap a headset as you can. I use £6 ($12) headsets that are the own brand of a computer store here in the UK and people tell me quite a bit that my mic sounds good lol.

And if its a headset you will probably be like me and leave them on your chair and sit on them (im on my 3rd!) - imagine replacing Bose noise canceling ones? lol

once i get one ill need help on how to get it set up. and do i need both a mic and headset or just the hjead set?

Get a mic and headphone headset. Thats the best way to go.
