Epic metalli-fail

Oh come on Metallica....

Eh, their new stuff isn't great anyways *shudders*... Hope this album is like the old Metallica albums.

A French record store, committing one of the most epic fails in recent memory, read the release date as September 2nd and released the album in their store today.

I was in Paris that day. Someone in Scotland called me to say it had happened. I went home that night with four copies and a list of people who were going to pay me for three of them.

The CD?

Awesome. Totally awesome.

One thing about this album is it stays with you, unlike Load/Reload and St. Anger. When I'm not listening to the album I can hear how all the songs go in my head which in turn makes me want to listen to it ASAP.

You know, XM Channel 51 is playing the new album today. But they've been advertising that fact for several weeks now.

If only it didn't sound like crap streaming over the internet, or I'd be listening to it right now. No, I'll just wait until the 12th so I can hear decent quality Metallica. :)

Unforgiven 3 is actually a really good song, a lot better than the first 2

I've heard U3, but it was a crappy youtube version. It sounds incredible. The scream James rips before the solo is AWESOME

U3 is good, but dont think it beats the first two. The day that never comes is my favorite so far I would say.

The Judas Kiss and Cyanide are also very good,,,hmm this has to be they're best album yet, hopefully we will see more in the future

In Cyanide ,james voice is amazing

All nightmare long, BB&S, and Judas Kiss are all streaming on metallica.com

I'm trying soooo damn hard not to listen to anymore songs till the 12th.

All I have to say is it's their best since "The Black Album"

If it's better than St Anger, and equal or better than Load/Reload - I'm happy. ( so far, not bad. )

Man, St Anger was such a disappointment ... I don't even know where my CD went. ( don't care either. )

:(

Wish they would release something that kicks it like ... And Justice for All ... again. Would be very sweet.

Wow got the album...
I LOVE All Nightmare Long. Possibly their best song, or maybe Fade To Black.

The Unforgiven III isn't as good as number 1 but in all fairness, The Unforgiven I was the best of them in my opinion.
