Need new sig

Okay well I made myself a new sig but I dont know how to save it so its transparent on the forums all I know is its saved as a jpeg.

If some one wants to help me or fix it up and clean it that would be appreciated a bunch .


Or if someone could make it look like how everyone elses is with the black boarder that i failed at doing. I have the screen shot and all i want on there is what you see thats on there now.

Hmm, you mean like this:

Are you talking about the transparent edges? Or did you want blurry edges?

It's a pain to get real transparency to work, so I cheat; I found the background color for the board (#f2f0f0) and use that to "fake" transparency.

That's how I made the "transparency" of my sig... right click, view image, and you will see through my seeming magic, and find the trap door in the sword box.

First off, to get Real Transparency(tm) you need to use a program like photoshop/Gimp/paint.Net

Secondly, you can't use JPEG for transparency, you'll need to use PNG or GIF file formats.

Also, because Internet Explorer Sucks(tm), you'll have to use 8-bit PNG or GIF files, which can make you lose color... as well as having blocky transparency (as a pixel can only be on or off).

I guess I'd need to know what program you use, and then I could explain how it works from there

well i updated and i give up on trying to make it better, its transparent and i got what i wanted out of it i guess

Yeah I found out the hard way that jpg doesn't do transparency. I use gif for all my transparency needs.
