Skinning question

I play on my brothers computer (TF2) as my computer doesnt have the specs, and I dont wanna fill his hard drive with GSC scape or whatever, I was wondering could I copy the things you need to skin (the folders) onto my pen drive and then download GSC scape and then create the skins etc and all that, and then move it back, Possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, As I would like to have a shot at Skinning!

Just extract the CFG on your harddrive and move that to your comp ? I extracted all the materials from TF2 CFG so i don't need to reopen it all the time...

Thats the kinda thing I waas thinking but I didnt know If it would work I would like more replys with maybe more info on if this would work.

I do it like that and it works... just place a folder on your desktop and extract all the materials in there. then if you finished a skin place it in your tf2 folder...
