S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky

I was checking out some of the trailers and videos for the new s.t.a.l.k.e.r. game it looks really good. All the lighting and just the graphics its self looks very good. Its a prologue to Shadows of Chernobyl. What do you guys think of the first game? I thought it was awesome, it was very realistic and was just fun to play. The only thing i didn't like was the fact that you had to get most or all of the missions done to get the right ending to the game. That was a problem because i just wanted to beat the game. haha, but what were your thoughts of the game.

I have the first one and I liked it, it was fun and the gameplay was pretty good. I know they are going to fix some things that didn't make the last game so I guess we'll see how it is, if it turns out to be awesome I'll probably get it

I pre-ordered Clear Sky im hoping its very good the graphics look awesome, its a good thing that Nvidia was doing some of the graphics. The volumetric lighting and smoke looks great and they game play should be just as good if not better. The online multiplayer was terrible though and it lagged so bad, it made it almost unplayable.

One of my favorite games ever. The weapons are so cool, especially the scoped ones. I like the artifacts concept as well. The game gives you the choice for close combat and sniper fighting, so it does not get boring. I gladly played it through twice, because I missed a mission and could not complete the main quest. If you like rpgs this is a fun one. I hope this next game is as good.

One thing you cant do in the game is cheat (as in if you know where you have to go for the main mission later in the game) it will kinda screw up what mission your on and you might not be able to continue the main quest. thats what happened to me. You can check out some of the new weapons at www.stalker-game.com. Another thing i loved about the game was the monsters, they were awesome some times they would scare the crap outta me.

Let's just say I luv STALKER alot (understatement) I bought the game on release date (even with the bugs back then I still enjoyed it) now that its been patched and many mods available for it I am enjoying it more then EVER! The atmosphere in this game is like no other out there. The sheer creep factor in this game gives me the chills, especially when playing at night. The STALKER community are a very enthusiastic bunch and have turned this game into the original "vision" of the developers (GSC game world). I can't wait to get my hands on Clear Sky! I am fascinated by the Chernobyl incident, and this game brings me as close as possible to being there without/ actually being there.

I highly recommend this mod for STALKER its called "Oblivion Lost" v1.3 Mod (what the game was originally gonna be called)

I love you banner. when i can play the game (Clear Sky) I'll post some screen shots but the graphics wont be maxed my video card isn't too great. I only have a 7900.

I just bought STALKER last week. Its fun, but difficult. It's not an easy FPS at all. I will definitely look into this mod although im just worried about that problem about Crashing To Desktop.
