I have recently changed my GUI (graphical user interface) of my XP to look like a mac. Anyhow I downloaded "StyleXP" which lets you use different themes (look for some vids on youtube, It helps.) and I downloaded a mac theme. These themes however dont come with docks like on a mac, so I downloaded RocketDock and it works a treat!
This is what RocketDock looks like
RocketDock zooms in on icons and shows the name of the icon. You can change text style, font, colour, outline and shadow. Dafont is a great place to get text styles
There are other ways to edit RocketDock. You can download custom icons, that are high res amd look good when zoomed in on. You may create your own icons like I did (RollerCoaster Tycoon 2)
make sure it is a square, and the bigger the better, for higher res when zoomed in. This Is a TF2 Icon you can download.
You can download them on the RocketDock Site or at wincustomize. You can download new skins as well.
You can also download "Docklets" for the date, to shut down, the amount of battery you have left.
To add functions to icons you download you need to: Right Click > Icon Settings > then edit the target to where you want it to go E.G for Photoshop: C:\Documents and Settings\[my name]\Desktop\Adobe Photoshop CS.lnk
RocketDock is a very useful dock. I recommend it greatly, even though I've had it less than 3 days. It works wonders.
