CAL Rotation Server

Well we have 4 new servers, and 3 are empty almost all the time, but instead of trying to make those active we turn our OLD servers into things that are more popular, so shouldn't we be changing our inactive servers to make em more active instead of bringing out our old servers? It's up to the council, I just play on Dust2 since it has ppl there all the time so if we get some more active servers that would be great.

what mostly has decided was a good decision. our surf and jail servers were a huge success and it looks like our servers are much more active than they were before. the only empty one i usually see is italy. (except for in the middle of the night of course)

I don't really get why we have our old servers up, thats what i'm confused about. Our Dust2 server was at like rank 80 but we got new servers so we started again from rank 8000, so our old servers went down in rank. Why are we keeping our old servers, when instead we can be filling the harpertowns and getting them back to the top 100s? Also we could switch italy with jail since it's a lot more popular, I suppose. Dust2 is steadily climbing in ranks, so that's a good sign.
I don't have a problem with waiting, my fav is Dust2 anyway
I know council will eventually sort it out and get our servers back into high ranks.

If you must know since you seem so concerned with our New/Old server switch. I got tired of waiting for all 4 instances to be fixed. Once 2 were fixed (office and DUST2) i converted the old ones to something fun for people to play on. Ill tell you what, nothing makes me madder than having a good game and then the server crashes. This is why I set up these fun servers to play on with out worrying about if they were up or down. Now, all the servers are fixed and there is a question wether or not were going to be keeping the other 2 instances. If you want to keep them, play in them. If not then we might loose 2. CAL rotations are not an option, unless its just the maps. im not going through all the BS for the sv_pure and 100tick noise. Besides NO ONE plays de_contra or de_cbble. the only 2 maps that are popular from CAL is DUST2 and cpl_mill (and mill is a strech), and we already have a dust2 server. So unless you can convince me that a CAL rotation would work or any rotation for that matter i would be glad to listen.

That's the rotation this year, plus dust 2 for the playoffs, which would make it perfectly logical to leave it off the rotation.
I personally love playing nuke, contra, russka, train, and inferno.

AH, well since Dust2 stopped crashing I guessed all 4 were fixed. Personally I'll agree with whatever you guys do to the servers, I know we have a sold council who knows how to get servers populated and keep em fun so whatever you want bro.
Well, if you all haven't noticed. The servers actually has increased the amount of players everyday. So, we are growing rapidly with the stable servers and new dedicated Jail server (with rules, new map, fixed, etc). Also, viscus if you want. You can read the NUMEROUS threads that have been posted about map changes and such. If you'd really like a full server and help the community; everyone should help and recruit or point every new person interested in the correct direction. Then we WILL have full servers .
