Yesterday a ban request was posted for =(eGO)=?sharp` on the charge of hacking. The demo was reviewed by advisors, DLs, and finally reached our resident expert masterofpuppets. The demo has clear and undeniable evidence of sharp knowing where and when an enemy will round a corner or exit a doorway. This knowledge allowed him on multiple instances in the demo to fire his rocket such that they strike the enemy player as they appear. There is no room for doubt as to the validity of the charge of hacking.
=(eGO)=?sharp` has been banned from all things eGO, including the site and vent. In the process of his contesting and after his denials were trampled under the mountain of evidence, he admitted to using what he called a 'graphical mod' to extend the shadows cast by players. This 'mod' as he calls it essentially allowed him to see the shadow cast by an enemy well before he should. Now, regardless if this is the truth or he was using a more conventional wall hack as the demo indicates, it should be understood by all that any modification to your game that gives YOU an advantage others do not have is considered cheating. Cheating, in any form, will not be tolerated. If a long time and well respected member of eGO can be banned, so can you. Don't risk it.
