I don't think they keep files around that aren't being used. this is not a backup service.

Yeah but Music files use a lot less than Movies. 7 days of music = around 20 gigs MP3

Keep in mind that your files will probably be deleted if they aren't accessed. Think of this as an alternative to RapidShare of those other big sites that make you wait w/ countdown timers.

Don't use this as a backup solution.

I only back things up online if I know for a fact I have a hardcopy. I'd just be storing them there as MP3s so if I can still download them then I can dodge the ripping from CDs.
