The story told is true, the names and/or places have been changed to protect the unaware.
I never knew how potent my sanvich was until one day (ok, last nite) I came face to face with a level 3 sentry AND DEFEATED IT WITH A SANVICH!
How, you ask with an incredible smirk? Well take a seat and let me tell the story......<hypnotic camera spiral with eastern music>
...It was a long battle, we were running low on ammo and just 3 corners and a sprint were all that was between us and victory! My medic was primed with Uber, our demo's were jumping with anticipation and i had just spied a lvl 3 sentry just outside Blu spawn room hallway (yea, you guessed it, Blackmesa_V2T3).
A spur of the moment thought hit me and I said (Soupy!, get ready for I am about to punch out a sentry!) My medic replied, SAY THE WORD!
And so I did................................................
Around the corner we came UBER CHARGE and FISTS ablazing.....(Yea, stupid now that I think about it). And of course the sentry pounded my heavy butt back so my fist were damned useless. Quick thinking that yours truly is I quickly changed weapons WHILE hammering the fire button. Guess which weapon I picked <by accident>.
So there I was, eating an Uber sanvich, munching LOUDLYand Uber charge was failing, I was looking stupid and my medic thought I had lost my mind when low and behold....the Sentry went DOWN! Yes folks, the sentry truly feared my UBER SANVICH and completely blew up. We went on and capped "B" point to win the round....
Not sure if those demos hiding behind me tossing wierd prickly round thingys while I got pounded had anything to do with it....
