cant upload screenshots, and other stuff

i have a pretty annoying thing wrong with my comp when i play tf2, it started yesterday when i was on mesa, when people chat their chaticon dosnt dissapear, and i can always see five icons for chat in lower right corner like they all chat, and another thing, all teamplayers that have chatted have all the rest of the game through a chaticon above their heads that dosnt dissapear either.
i took som screens off it, but when i try to upload to this page it says:invalid file, how do i format to one so that it can be uploaded here?

the easiest way to show us the image is to upload to something like photobucket and then link the file in your post.

as far as your problem - what are your system specs (i.e. how much memory do you have, what kind of video card, etc). it's possible this is just a memory or video glitch of some sort. you might want to start with making sure you're using the latest drivers for your video card. if you don't have quite enough RAM and there are programs in the background that are eating up resources, then it might just be your computer bottle-necking there...

as you can see on my partly copypastet dxdiag i have only 1gb off ram, and i have always got the messageaged pool memory low, after playing about ten minutes ore so, but nothing happens with my game, i can keep playing for hours and hours, without any problems, i have had tf2 since it came out, and have never ever before experienced the prob with the chaticons.
my vidcard is a
RADEON 9250 and yes i have the latest driver for that.
thanks for the advice concerning photobucket, but thinking about it posting the screen off it wont help since i have already descriped the problem.but yeah i deffinetly need more ram, but then again they prob shouldnt write on the box that it only needs 512mbram, i once got the advice that my computer specs should be about 50 percent higher than the minimum requirements to run a game without probs, but guess that is a no go in this case :-(
edit:some off my screens i can see but others are tgafiles, and i cant see those....anybody?

alright - for your screen shots...you can create a bind that will make your screenshot come out as a jpeg. to bind your screenshot to a jpeg file, type bind f5 jpeg (you can use any of the F - keys...f5 is just an example).

for your computer - my guess is what you're seeing is a memory problem. A gig is definitely on the low end for running Windows and trying to play a game. If you have anything at all running in the background on top of that (virus scanner, firewall, browser, etc) then it's going to slow down or show some weird artifacts.

another possibility since you said it just started happening - your computer (specifically your video card) could be experience some overheating problems. heat can cause ALL kinds of strange problems. try downloading speedfan (or any other temp sensor) for your machine and see how hot it's running. it could just be that your fans are starting to fail, or that there's a lot of dust in your machine, which leads to overheating.

51 isn't too bad at all...but if you're bored I would still suggest you open up your case, pull out your video card and used a can of compressed air to clean out all the dust. I'm still going with memory without seeing/knowing more details...it's possible that even though your computer registers 1gig it's actually only got 512 or 768 or something because of a faulty RAM module or something. Or that it's just not enough RAM to run everything on your machine.

The bind you can do in console. You can also add it to the autoexec file in the tf2 folder so that it binds every time you start the game.

Ok cheers m8, guess i am going shopping tomorrow , and i just took a look at my fan and the vidcard it dosnt look too good, did not know i had to clean my comp, but then again i only have had computers since 1995 .
